About Us
Ripple Effect Academy started as a simple passion for helping people feel safe and confident in the water.
Our Mission
Our mission at Ripple Effect Academy is to create a safe and welcoming place for swimmers of all ages to build confidence in the water. We are dedicated to teaching proper skills, encouraging personal growth, and supporting each swimmer at their own pace. Through patience, guidance, and community connection, we aim to spark a ripple of confidence that extends far beyond the pool.
Our Vision
Our vision is to inspire a community where everyone feels confident, safe, and capable in the water. We strive to make quality swim education available across the Interlake, empowering individuals of all ages to embrace lifelong water skills. By fostering encouragement, inclusivity, and continuous growth, we hope to create ripples of confidence that positively shape lives for years to come.
Our Story
Ripple Effect Academy began as a small
passion project — long before it became a business.
When friends’ children came over and
struggled in the pool, it was clear how easily
fun could turn into fear.
With the right guidance, patience, and
encouragement, those same kids went from
refusing to put their faces in the water to confidently swimming laps and launching cannonballs.
Watching that transformation was powerful.
Over the years, a small circle of friends and
family seeking swimming lessons grew into a
community. Parents saw how water confidence
changed not just swimming ability, but self-
belief. Kids stood taller. Fear softened into pride.
Confidence in the water began to ripple into
confidence in life.
That ripple didn’t stop with children.
Adults who hadn’t been in the water for 30, 40,
even 50 years began showing up — often
carrying embarrassment or fear. With support,
those layers melted away as skills returned and
confidence grew. The joy of watching someone
reclaim the water never gets old.
Ripple Effect Academy exists to make swimming
available to busy families and individuals in
the Interlake community who may not have
opportunities in the city.
Our goal is simple: to create
a safe, welcoming space where swimmers of all ages can build skills, confidence, and a lifelong
connection to the water.
